Sinopsis
Sejak jaman Edo Jepang, untuk menyelesaikan konflik, para pedagang dan pengusaha memakai cara yang baru untuk menyelesaikan sengketa antar kedua belah pihak. Yakni dengan cara kekerasan, lebih tepatnya “bertarung” untuk menyingkirkan saingan industri mereka.
Para pedagang menyewa petarung yang mereka percayai untuk bertarung di dalam sebuah pertandingan yang simpel, pertandingan adil satu melawan satu tanpa senjata. setelah itu keduanya akan bertempur mewakili para pedagang. Seiring waktu, hingga jaman modern ini tradisi tersebut masih dilakukan untuk menentukan hasil dari sebuah konflik industri.
Karena itu Kazuo Yamashita, seorang pegawai biasa yang bekerja di perusahaan Nogi Group, harus bertemu dengan Ouma Tokita, seorang petarung yang disewa perusahaannya untuk mengikuti tradisi tersebut dan masuk kedalam pertandingan “Turnamen Kengan Zetsumei” untuk menentukan siapa pebisnis teratas di Jepang.
